How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is usually done by contacting directly via phone or email.

After contacting us, you can expect an email to be sent out that will need to be filled, followed by an estimate and a small deposit to secure your booking. Please let us know your email in advance if you wish to speed up the process. 

 

When do appointments usually occur?

They will generally occur on a Monday, Tuesday, weekday evenings or weekend pending availability. 


What services can I expect?

We offer a range of services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, consultations, minor procedures, certain diagnostic tests, such as blood and urine testing and euthanasia.

Do mobile vets provide emergency services? 

Only non-emergency procedures are available - these will usually occur after a consultation and booked in advance where necessary.

Are mobile vet services as thorough as clinic visits?

We aim to provide comprehensive care, but some procedures, such as surgeries including dental work or diagnostic imaging, may require a traditional clinic setting.

What are the benefits of using a mobile vet service?

Pet Furever offer convenience, reduced stress for pets, personalised attention, and the ability to provide care in the comfort of your home.

Can mobile vets collaborate with my regular veterinarian?

Yes, we can work in collaboration with your regular veterinarian, sharing medical records and communicating to ensure continuity of care.

Is a mobile vet service suitable for all pet owners?

Services from Pet Furever are particularly beneficial for elderly pet owners, those with limited mobility, anxious pets, multiple pet households, or those seeking a more personalised veterinary experience. However, they can be suitable for any pet owner seeking individualised care.

Are there payment plans available?

Unfortunately, not at this stage. Pet Furever require ALL payments to be made in full upon invoicing.

What happens if I cannot make the appointment?

Kindly notify us promptly if there are any changes in your circumstances, as a $20 cancellation fee applies to all appointments.

How can I make a payment online?

This can be done through stripe or bank transfer with the screenshot emailed. Alternatively, cash can be used as payment options. Please note that we do not carry cash for change.
